We're Back!

After a long Holiday full of events, we are back into the normal swing of things!

We would like to take this opportunity to fill our fabulous customers in on some of the changes that are going on around the bakery.

As many of you may know, we have stopped serving lunch in order to concentrate on doing what we do best, baking! This was a hard decision to make because of our faithful lunch customers; however, we are confident that we will now be able to better meet your baking needs. We will still be serving our breakfast from 7:00-11:00, and we are curently working on creating new menu options.

On a happier note, we are so excited to anounce that Erin, one of our head cake artists, got married over the past weekend! We could not be more happy for her and her new husband Scott. They had a beautiful little wedding on the beach and are now back to start there new lives together here in B/CS.

Winter has arrived!

You can always tell that it is Christmas time when the cookie orders start to roll in!

Our December started with an order from BTU for 100 cookie bouquets with 8 cookies each... that is 800 cookies on sticks, people!

Thankfully, we have wonderful staff members who made it fun and much less painful to get this order finished. We loved how the baskets turned out, and we hope BTU did too... since they are in charge of our lights and all :)

If you are interested in getting some of our delicious decorated cookies, order now before it is too late! We always book up really fast this time of year.

We also had another very special order this week. It was a cake for our friend Tori's wedding shower. Tori is getting married in December and we could not be more happy for her. Erin made her this beautiful cake:

We love you, Tori! We cannot wait to do the cake for the big day!

Weekly Faves...

As Always, picking a favorite from the past week was quite a challenge. We decided that this week we would show off one of our less girly cakes.
This is Erin working on a 3-D cake from the movie Cars. Our 3-D cakes are so popular right now! Our customers love how they act as a decoration at the party. Erin is so talented and cakes like this one give her a chance to really show what she can do.
